2024 Valspar Championship: Tournament Prop Bets, Odds 3/21/24
Pick details
This week, the PGA Tour presents golf bettors with the 2024 Valspar Championship.
The 2024 Valspar Championship will be played at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor Florida. The golf course is a par 71 that measures approximately 7,340 yards.
Before we discuss my favorite prop bets for the 2024 Valspar Championship let’s take a look at the top five golfers in overall scoring average on the PGA Tour that are in this week’s event field.
Top Five Golfers in Scoring Average
Now that we have determined who the current top five golfers in overall scoring average are on the PGA Tour (in this week’s field) let’s shift our attention to my favorite prop bets for the 2024 Valspar Championship.
Here are three golfers to consider placing on your card to finish in the top ten.
Brian Harman +240
The 2023 Open champion arrives at the 2024 Valspar Championship on the heels of two consecutive top 12 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive second place result at the 2024 Players Championship last week.
In relation to this week’s current listed 2024 Valspar Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Brian Harman ranks first in birdie or better percentage, third in strokes gained tee to green, and second in strokes gained approach.
Brian Harman has posted quality results at the Copperhead Course previously. Harman finished fifth at the 2022 Valspar Championship.
Nick Taylor +330
The talented Canadian has accumulated three top 26 finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a win at the 2024 Waste Management Phoenix Open last month.
Similar to Brian Harman, Taylor has played well at this week’s PGA Tour event in the past. Taylor finished tenth at the 2023 Valspar Championship.
Doug Ghim +360
Doug Ghim has accumulated five consecutive top 16 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a 13th place result at the 2024 Farmers Insurance Open in January.
I certainly like Ghim’s chances to continue playing well this week at the Valspar Championship.
