This Friday morning, the PGA Tour presents the second round of the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open.
The second round of the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open will be played at the Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas. The golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 7,435 yards.
This will be the fifth consecutive year that the Texas Children’s Houston Open has been played at the Memorial Park Golf Course.

Last week, Taylor Moore fired a third round 68 at the 2024 Valspar Championship en route to an eventual 12th place finish.
In relation to this week’s 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Taylor Moore ranks sixth in strokes gained tee to green, sixth in GIR (greens in regulation), tenth in strokes gained approach, and 13th in birdie or better percentage.
Sahith Theegala +115 over Jason Day, Padraig Harrington
Sahith Theegala has accumulated three top nine finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at the 2024 Waste Management Phoenix Open last month.
In relation to this week’s 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Sahith Theegala ranks sixth in birdie or better percentage, sixth in bogey avoidance, sixth in strokes gained putting, and 11th in strokes gained off the tee.
Additionally, Sahith Theegala has posted a quality result at the Memorial Park Golf Course in the past. Theegala finished 22nd at the 2023 Texas Children’s Houston Open.
