UFC on ESPN 62 Picks & Odds Breakdown
Pick details
UFC on ESPN 62 takes place on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and this should be an exciting card. Let’s take a look at a free play on each of the main card fights to make your Saturday a winning one.
Jared Cannonier vs Caio Borralho
Cannonier +200 / Borralho -245 // Total Rounds: 2.5
Jared Cannonier and Caio Borralho face off in a key middleweight bout with Cannonier being the 5th ranked fighter while Borralho is ranked 12th. Cannonier is in his fourth straight main event but he is coming off a loss in his last fight. Cannonier faced off against Nassaourdine Imavov, and it was in the 4th round that he was knocked out. Borralho comes into this fight with a 16-1 record overall and since coming into the UFC he has won eight straight fights. Borralho is a well rounded fighter and in his last fight he was able ot win by knockout. I don’t trust Cannonier’s chin after his last fight and he’s going to struggle here. Borralho is going to get the job done here. Back Borralho by knockout.
Angela Hill vs Tabatha Ricci
Hill -110 / Ricci -110 // Total Rounds: 3.5
Angela Hill and Tabatha Ricci face off on Saturday in a women’s strawweight bout and this one has all the makings of an exciting fight. Hill has won two straight fights and in her last fight she was able to win bu submission, the first one her career. Ricci is a talented fighter, but she’s going to come out on the wrong end of this fight. Hill is getting up there in age, but she is improving and will find success. HIll is going to put the pressure on, and she will come out with a victory. Back Hill on the money line.
Ryan Loder vs Robert Valentin
Loder +145 / Valentin -175 // Total Rounds: 2.5
The first TUF championship is a middleweight showdown between Ryan Loder and Robert Valentin. Valentin has been sure impressive so far and that includes a win that took only 15 seconds to get done. Loder was an All-American wrestler at Northern Iowa but that was a while back and he’s 33 years old now. Loder is a really good wrestler and he’s going to use that wrestling to find success here. Loder is going to win the championship, and earn his UFC contract. Back Loder on the money line.
Kaan Ofli vs Mairon Santos
I really like Loder in the previous fight, but the other TUF Fight is a stay away spot for me. Ofli and Santos have both looked good during the tournament, but I don’t really trust either to find success here, at least enough to bet it. It’s a lean with Santos, but this is a stay away fight for me.
Neal Magny vs Michael Morales
Morales -800 / Magny +550
Neal Magny seems to be the measuring stick for up and coming middleweight fighters and they are doing it again in this fight when he goes against Michael Morales. Magny isn’t afraid about getting in a brawl and that’s exactly what this type of fight is going to be. A lot of people seem to be counting out Magny, but he still has the power, and he’s going to find success here. Back Magny on the money line to cash.
