Indiana Pacers vs Cleveland Cavaliers Player Prop Picks 5/13/25 NBA Picks

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers are set to face off in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 7:00 PM ET at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. The Pacers currently lead the series 3–1 and will look to close it out on the road.

In Game 4, the Pacers dominated the Cavaliers with a 129–109 victory, taking a commanding 3–1 series lead. Pascal Siakam led Indiana with 21 points, while Darius Garland paced Cleveland with 21 points as well.  The Pacers’ offensive efficiency and depth have been key factors in their success throughout the series. Despite the deficit, the Cavaliers are favored by 7.5 points in Game 5, with an over/under set at 229.5 points.  Cleveland will need strong performances from their core players, including Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen, to extend the series.

Max Strus Over 2.5 Three Pointers

Strus is averaging 2.3 made three-pointers on 5.9 attempts per game, resulting in a 38.6% three-point shooting percentage. This efficiency contributed to his overall field goal percentage of 44.2% and a true shooting percentage of 60.7%, indicating his effectiveness as a perimeter scorer. In the playoffs, Strus elevated his performance, shooting 50% from beyond the arc and averaging 13.7 points per game. His ability to stretch the floor and contribute offensively was instrumental in the Cavaliers’ postseason success. He’s hit 3+ three-pointers in 7 of his last 9 games. I don’t see him slowing down in this one.

Donovan Mitchell Over 28.5 Points

Mitchell is averaging 24.0 points per game, ranking 16th in the league. His shooting efficiency included a field goal percentage of 44.3%, a three-point percentage of 36.8%, and a free-throw percentage of 82.3%. We’ve seen Mitchell score 40+ points twice in this series so far. With that being said, he is coming off his worst game of this series, only scoring 12 points. With the Cavs’ season on the line, I expect Mitchell to have a solid bounce-back game and at least score 30 in this one. 

Myles Turner Over 6.5 Rebounds

Myles Turner is averaging 6.5 rebounds per game, comprising 1.3 offensive and 5.3 defensive rebounds per contest. This placed him 35th in the league for rebounds per game. Turner’s rebounding numbers weren’t great in the Pacers’ first playoff series against the Heat, but his numbers have improved in this series. We’ve seen him secure 7+ rebounds in 4 of his last 5 games. I expect him to play another pivotal role on the glass in this one.
