New York Jets Betting Preview
New York is in the middle of another lost season. The Jets fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers in their first seven games. Two wins over the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns came next, though. In the 27-20 victory over Cleveland on November 9, the Jets posted just 169 total yards with 12 first downs and a measly 3-of-11 success rate on third downs. The Browns committed 10 penalties for 78 yards on the other side in the Jets win.
Last Thursday versus New England, the Jets fell back into the loss column. New York was down 14-7 by halftime and limped to a 27-14 defeat in the end. Justin Fields finished with 116 yards and a score on 15-of-26 passing and also led the rush with 11 carries for 67 yards and another touchdown. John Metchie led the receivers with three grabs for 45 yards and a score.
Baltimore Ravens Betting Preview
Over on the Ravens’ side, they went just 1-5 over their first six games with a lone win over the Cleveland Browns among losses to the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams. Baltimore would win the next three over the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings, though. In the 27-19 win over Minnesota on November 9, the Ravens gave up 365 yards total, 6.0 yards per play, 18 first downs and 3-of-14 on third-down tries. Baltimore also had a trio of takeaways in the winning effort.
Matched up against the Browns on Sunday, Baltimore was in trouble with a 16-10 deficit heading into the final quarter. The Ravens posted 13 unanswered points from there however, resulting in a 23-16 win in the end. QB Lamar Jackson finished 14-of-25 for 193 yards and two picks, while Derrick Henry had 18 carries for 108 yards and a TD rushing. Leading receiver Zay Flowers had three catches for 78 yards in the victory effort as well.

Jets vs Ravens Prediction
I’ll stay with the Ravens. Baltimore played with fire in their tense road win over the Browns last weekend, but to their credit the Ravens found a way to win. Although Baltimore had three turnovers and went just 5-of-13 on third-down tries, the offense still managed to get the job done. The defense was great on the other side, giving up just 187 yards, 3.5 yards per play, 10 first downs and 2-of-14 on third-down conversion attempts. The Ravens have 23 or more points in all four games of this current win streak.
As for the Jets, they can’t seem to find a groove on offense this year. New York notched a tepid 245 yards in their loss to the Patriots last Thursday along with 105 passing yards, 15 first downs and a lost fumble. The third-down conversions (8-of-14) were very good, though. New York has put up fewer than 15 points in three of the last five games, and all three of those have been losses. If the Jets can’t score early and often here, they’re sunk.
