In this article, we will formulate a Leicester City vs Aston Villa Prediction for this English Premier League game on Saturday, August 31st at King Power Staidum. To formulate this prediction, we will examine:

-Leicester City’s recent form and recent player performance

-Aston Villa’s recent form and recent play performance

-A summary that ties it all together and produces a favorable betting outcome for today’s game between Leicester City and Aston Villa.

Aston Villa Betting Preview

After looking good in the first game of the season against West Ham United, Aston Villa ran into a buzz saw and were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal. Aston Villa had issues even keeping possession and they finished with only 39 percent of the possession and three shots on target. They di have less fouls in the game but that was the only real positive. Aston Villa is dealing with a major injury concern here with Matty Cash who is expected to be out for a while. Boubacar Kamara and Tyrone Mings are still dealing with serious knee injuries and they are going to be out for a while.

Leicester City Betting Preview

Leicester City opened up their season with a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur, but in the last game against Fulham it wasn’t as good. Leicester City scored a goal but the defense gave up two. They did have that midweek EFL game against Tranmere and they were able to secure the 4-0 victory. Leicester City didn’t even allow a shot on goal. Patson Daka and Jakub Stolarczyk are both dealing with injuries and they are going to be out a while longer. Jaimie Vardy is expected to move into the starting lineup in this game and a goal by him would really help the chances of Leicester City.

Leicester City vs Aston Villa Prediction

This game is going to be higher scoring. Aston Villa is going to run up the score here but I do think Jamie Vardy is going to find the back of the net at least once. The defense for both teams is going to be a major problem. Both teams could score at least three goals and it wouldn’t come as that much of a shock. The over is the best bet of the entire weekend in the EPL. Back the over to cash.
