Mpetshi Perricard has compiled 23 wins and 23 losses in 2025. He won the Bordeaux Challenger during the clay swing and has reached three ATP semifinals, with his most recent one coming in Brussels, where he lost in two tiebreaks to Jiri Lehecka. That was his first indoor hard-court tournament of the season.

His relentless energy and dynamic game could be what he needs to get a massive result over the defending champion.
